PURPOSE 

To contribute to combating the causes of hunger and malnutrition, for the improvement of the quality of life in Honduras with an international focus.

VISION 

To be a nationally and internationally recognized organization, characterized by its constant contextualization that contributes to reducing the causes of hunger and malnutrition in Honduras, promoting equitable, sustainable, integral and transparent development.

We are an organization with integrity and transparency, focused on strengthening capacities to reduce the causes of hunger and malnutrition, targeting communities at climate risk, vulnerable communities, and indigenous peoples, under a cross-cutting gender approach.

GENERAL GOAL

To contribute to the reduction of the causes of hunger and malnutrition in Honduras through the management, design and implementation of strategic interventions based on strengthening local capacities.

SPECIFIC GOALS.

Establish strategic alliances with local and international organizations aligned with the organization's mission and vision, to facilitate knowledge exchange, strengthen capacities and increase the impact of interventions through coordination and optimization of joint efforts.

Strengthen local capacities through technical training in sustainable agricultural production, storage and post-harvest handling, aimed at vulnerable communities and indigenous peoples, with a gender equity approach.

Develop sustainable projects in vulnerable communities through agri-food ventures.

Implement strategic interventions to improve agri-food production through the introduction of appropriate technologies, access to quality inputs and the adoption of climate-resilient practices.

Promote food security at the community level by creating food banks and facilitating local distribution networks that guarantee access to nutritious and sufficient food in areas with high vulnerability rates.

Promote community and gender participation in food security decision-making, ensuring that women and minority groups have a voice in resource planning and management processes.
