SIFAT Costa Rica is an association dedicated to establishing a training and development center that contributes to combating hunger, reducing poverty, and promoting community growth both locally and internationally.
Although with a global reach —reaching Central America, the Caribbean, South America and beyond—, our roots are firmly planted in the local community.
We believe that the exchange of ideas and experiences between communities strengthens them all: what is learned locally can transform globally, and the global can inspire new solutions locally.

Los valores de SIFAT Costa Rica
■ The fundamental values of this Association are rooted in Christian love for others.
■ Our motivation is to "share God's love in practical ways," with a special focus on helping those who are marginalized and oppressed. However, we are not a church, nor do we require those we serve to share our Christian beliefs.
■ We seek to work with a broad section of society that shares the goal of reducing suffering and promoting holistic or integral community development.
■ Our calling is to serve the community in a holistic, self-help way, taking into account the physical, social, economic, environmental, spiritual, and psychological dimensions of the human condition.
